  • Please contact the centre if you would like to enrol in a class
  • All payments should be made at least 7 days before the course commences
  • EFTPOS/Credit Card facility is available, 1% FEE ON ALL CREDIT CARDS AND TAP'N'GO
  • Fees can be directly deposited into our account - call the centre for details
  • Refunds will be given if a course is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or 5 days’ notice is given by the student - refunds will not be provided otherwise
  • Make-up classes are not offered for sessions missed by students
  • Childcare: Available for limited spaces in some day classes at $3.00 per child or $5.00 per family


Melton South Community Centre offers a range of programs and services that reflect the diversity of our community. We are committed to providing quality adult education and many of our courses are made possible with funding from ACFE (Adult Council Further Education). Courses such as computer training (digital literacy), introduction to industry and other job-related courses aim to enhance opportunities for employment, starting your own business, volunteering or as a pathway to further education.

Food Parcels

Fri, 03/04/2020 - 10:00

Food parcels are available every Friday from 10:00am - 12:00 noon. Gold coin required. Participants must have a concession card (ID is required) and be a resident of Melton.  Parcels are supplied by Northpoint Centre.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, Melton South Community Centre is unfortunately closed to the public until further notice. 

However, Northpoint will continue to distribute food parcels at the centre on Fridays, under strict conditions and guidelines.

We are planning to run our term 2 program of courses and classes, most of which are scheduled to begin in May, but we will keep you dated of any changes and modifications.

Little Libraries

Come along to our "Little Library" - WHAT IS A LITTLE LIBRARY?

A Little Library is a free book exchange where people can take a book or bring along a book to swap.

We have a Children's Section as well and donations would be gratefully accepted.

Free Computer Access for Job Seekers

Free computer access is available every fortnight on Fridays from 10:00am - 2:00pm for those seeking to job search, update their resume, go onto Government websites for research or to update their details.  We offer one hour free access. Bookings are required. Call the Centre on 9747 8576 Monday - Friday between 9:30am - 4:30pm.
 This project is made possible through funding from ACFE (CAIF) Program.

Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services

Melton South Community Centre offers pre accredited courses which can be used as a pathway to Accredited Courses offered at Djerriwarrh.

Sunrise Women's Groups

Social Groups for women who have a disability (including women who experience mental illness). Sunrise Women's Groups are for women of all ages who have a disability and want to meet other women and feel connected. The group is open to women with a physical and/or intellectual disability, and women who experience mental illness.

Buses travelling along Route 457 & Route 459 stop next door to the Centre and we are a five minute walk from the Melton Railway Station.
