Food Parcels

Food parcels are available every Friday, excluding public holidays, from 10:30am. Speak to one of the friendly volunteers at the courtyard gate, and you will be advised when to come back to collect your parcel. You will be given a 15-minute window in which you must return to collect your food - returning earlier or later than your specified time may result in your parcel being forfeited.

Due to demand and social distancing requirements, it is asked that you follow guidelines and not wait at the centre/gates for extended periods of time or before 10:30am, particularly as the carpark is inundated.

In order to access the food parcel service, you must be a resident of the City of Melton, and hold a current Centrelink concession or health care card. A $3.00 donation is required in order to cover the cost of food supplies, so that we can continue to provide essentials for the community. For the sake of comfort and convenience, please bring your own bags where possible.

Parcels contain a variety of food staples, including milk, bread, fresh curry, pasta and rice dishes, and fresh fruit and vegetables. Food is supplied by Foodbank Victoria, and parcels are assembled by our amazing team of volunteers.

Volunteers are always required to assist with this valuable service - particuarly now, as demand is greater than ever. If you would like to lend a hand, please contact the centre on 9747 8576.
